Ausbildung guide
How to Apply for Ausbildung from Zimbabwe
Start with German language preparation, because employers need to know that you can learn and work in German. Many routes expect B1, while some prefer B2.
Step 1: Prepare your documents
Prepare a clear CV, motivation letter, school certificates, German certificate, passport and any practical experience documents. Translations or verification may be required depending on the process.
Step 2: Choose realistic occupations
Apply for occupations that fit your background, interests and language level. Hospitality, care, technical, production and craft roles may have different expectations.
Step 3: Apply and prepare for interviews
Applications should be professional and honest. Video interviews are common for international applicants. Practise explaining your motivation, experience and visa readiness.
